Spiritual/Religous : Lost Your Way (answer to "Lost My Way")
Posted by Brownie on 2010/2/8 15:30:15 (68 reads)

Precious Daughter!
Don't you know?
I am right here,
Never leaving you alone.

For every wrong step you take,
My heart will break.
First one tear,
Then another.

Here's my hand.
Take it and we'll leave!
You've only lost your way,
because of me,
here is not where
you have to stay.

I understand your longing.
I understand your fear.
I gave you my forgiveness
In my heart, by my blood.
alter your course,
and live in my love.

Such information is useful, Sister. Thank you for correcting me! Getting-to-know newer members is always interesting, and it's a bit more of a journey when their profile page holds little data.

Thanks for the advice, but a "good tangible helper" will have to wait until I'm a little older. My parents and other leaders will have to help me, for now.

And the answer you came up with is even more relevant. I babble too long. "The heart of man is wicked and decietful, above all things. Who can know it?" Therefore, I finally agree that your best bet is to look to God Himself for help with directing you back to the straight-and-narrow. It's also easier to find a good, tangible helper when you are walking along the path... because then naturally, all the good ones will be walking right alongside you!

Team ECHO,

We find our voice in YOU.

Interesting. This poem was written a few months after I wrote Lost My Way. It was designed to be the response from Christ, but I like the interpretation of a loving father responding to a hurt and lost daughter. Thank you for the insight.

Be careful not to be too overprotective as she grows up or you run the risk of her rebelling against you.
