*Misc : Cancel The Emotions
Posted by Blooper_Reel on 2010/2/8 1:00:35 (73 reads)

cancel the emotions,
take the pain,
controlling your heart,
is like choosing when it rains.

break the bondage,
of anger and lust,
cancel the hate,
life can be just.

destroy the wicked,
the politics and scum,
cancel the lies,
the world becomes one.

begin to love ,
share your heart,
cancel the restrictions,
experience cupids dart.

staying faithful,
through lust and temptation,
cancel the mistrust,
enjoy procreation.

arguments ensue,
where were you last night,
cancel the relationship,
your biggest fright.

a futile venture,
into the sea of despair,
one love canceled,
left a heart in repair.

 Re: Cancel The Emotions
I disagree with how you compared "controlling your heart" to "choosing when it rains." I thinks it's very possible to choose who you fall in love with. Don't you choose what to think about? Don't you choose who to hang out with? If you're not thinking about a person or spending time with them, how would you fall for them? Difference aside, it's very nicely written. And I understand that ending a relationship can be a good thing for an individual to do.

Damn boy. Differences aside, this was amazingly written. I really like it, particularly the last stanza.

I think the 3rd verse is very relevant at present!

 Re: Cancel The Emotions
I really like the first stanza.
It does seem that controlling one's true feeling can be very hard.
